Summer 2016

The inaugural year for the Vancouver Mural Festival showcases the works of over 30 artists (90% local and 10% international) on buildings throughout the city. Over the course of a week, 10 of those artists, myself included, painted the entirety of the Makerlabs building. This 150' piece was made in collaboration with Colin Moore for this portion of the festival. The mural breaks down the coastal landscape into simple shapes and textures, connecting and piecing them together with bold patterns to create an abstract scene with familiar elements (and some hidden faces!).
